Independent Model

 

9th grade curriculum: $200 per year with scholarship ($400)

10th grade curriculum: $200 per year with scholarship ($400)

9th and 10th-grade curricular materials are provided via a partnership with BrightThinker. Students will experience a variety of instructional content that is academically challenging yet visually engaging to stimulate the educational mind and encourage academic discovery.

 

10th Grade YC Academy College-Credit Courses: $335 for 10 hours of college credit with scholarship ($670)

 Students can start earning college credit as early as their sophomore year through the Micro-Collegiate Academy and York College. The YC Academy courses can be used in conjunction with any sophomore curriculum. In this 10-credit-hour bundle, students will enroll in four courses to supplement their academic career:

  • College Readiness (1 credit hour) Recommended for Spring semester
  • Introduction to Communication (3 credit hours) Recommended for Spring semester
  • American Government (3 credit hours) Recommended for Summer semester
  • Introduction to Information Technology (3 credit hours) Recommended for Summer semester

Students will be enrolled in these courses in the Spring and Summer semesters unless otherwise discussed with an MCA mentor. This package is great for students who want to continue with the YC Academy for 11th grade and work toward earning an associate degree along with their high school requirements.

10th Grade YC Academy Bundle: $535 for the academic year with scholarship ($1070)

This package pairs the 10th grade curriculum from BrightThinker with the four courses in the 10th Grade YC Academy. This package is great for students who want to continue with the YC Academy for 11th grade and work toward earning an associate degree with their high school requirements.

 

11th Grade YC Academy: $1000 for 30 hours of college credit with scholarship ($2000)

Students enroll in 10 college-credit courses each year. While students can choose among any of the courses available, if students follow an established sequence of courses, they will be able to complete an associate degree from York College along with their high school requirements. During the registration process, you can decide which courses your student wants to take each semester. Contact us to talk through the process.

 

Dual Enrollment 5 Course Bundle: $500 for five dual enrollment courses with scholarship ($1000)

 Students can choose from 19 courses to create their own high school experiences. Students can take the five in any sequence they’d like, but they must complete all five within the academic year. Students choose in which term they want to take each course: Fall, Spring, or Summer. Perfect for 11th and 12th grade students. After you pay for the bundle, we’ll work with you to get you enrolled in the courses you want.

Institutional Model

Students who enroll in the Institutional Model through these partners are also eligible for the scholarship. Prices may vary depending on how each school is funded and may be lower than what is listed above.

Epic Collegiate Academy (Oklahoma): 

Students enroll with Epic Charter School and follow the sequencing for the 9th and 10th grades provided by Epic. Students will begin taking dual enrollment courses in the Spring semester of their sophomore year and throughout their junior and senior years. Students will have the support of the Epic staff and complete high school with a state-recognized diploma. College courses will be transcribed by Oklahoma Christian University. Resolute Collegiate Academy (Texas): 

Students enroll with Resolute Academy and follow the sequencing for 9th and 10th grade provided by Resolute. Students will begin taking dual enrollment courses in the Spring semester of their sophomore year and throughout their junior and senior years. Students will have the support of the Resolute staff and complete high school with a state-recognized diploma. College courses will be transcribed by York College.
